如果我們查看黃金商品的4小時圖表，可以看到一個看跌的123形態，隨後出現幾個看跌的Ross Hook（RH），並且黃金價格的走勢確認在WMA（30 Shift 2）下方運行，該指標也顯示出下降趨勢，再加上黃金價格走勢與隨機震盪指標之間出現負背離。從這些跡象來看，黃金近期有可能繼續走弱，將會測試2998.92這一水平的支撐能力，若成功跌破並收於此水平之下，那麼黃金將會測試下一目標2985.44，若下行波動性和動能足夠強，黃金不排除會繼續下跌至2956.13。然而，如果在下行途中黃金突然再度轉強，突破並收於3047.00之上，則這一看跌情景將會失效並自動取消。
