In distant Australia, away from civilization, there is one of the abandoned houses. It is located in Alfington, one of the suburbs of Melbourne. The dwelling will soon be demolished, but this did not stop the local street artist Tyrone Wright from creating a fragile beauty inside it - a series of romantic female portraits. You will find the farewell gifts the master left for the dilapidated house in our article.
Near the abandoned house, where melancholic pictures of Wright live among the splinters of plaster, there is nothing: the neighboring structures were demolished. According to the authorities' plan, the vacant site will be occupied by modern buildings.
The abandoned house still lives its own unique life. The desolation of dilapidated rooms is softened by images of women's faces. They seem to symbolize the soul of a shabby house.
The artist was able to recreate in a dying dwelling an inimitable, almost mystical atmosphere. However, this unique art object, called "Omega", will soon cease to exist.
Despite the status of the house, which, in addition to the art platform, is a museum of Australian life of the 1950s, it has to go into oblivion together with portraits. They will remain only in the memory of the author and users of the Internet.
According to Tyrone Wright, his project is similar to the scenery for a fantastic film. He notes that most of the street art-objects do not live very long. Such art exists basically at the expense of the spectators who take pictures of the creations and upload them to social networks.
The artist does not regret that the house will be demolished along with his stunning paintings. "The idea of creating a beautiful island of life amidst the ruins is a key theme for every street artist," T. Wright emphasizes. He takes for granted that everything created by the hand of the creator can disappear the next day.
